Hi, I'm Judy, the owner and founder of Knotted Thread Embroidery, here in Otter Lake, Michigan and I'm so glad that you're here.
After 27 years in my previous career, I made the decision to take early retirement and finally do something that I had always dreamed of - owning my own business. I've always loved creating and making things, and I knew I wanted to build something that allowed me to serve customers directly while working for myself.
That dream became Knotted Thread Embroidery.

For years, I knew I wanted to provide a service that helped people and businesses look their best. I didn't want to work for someone else anymore - I wanted to build something of my own.
